A piece of jewelry and a musical instrument, this whistle is inspired by ancient Ukrainian folk toys. The heart/fish has a clear sound and textures pleasant to the touch. Hand-sculpted from clay, it will accompany your daily journey with sound. It has four playing holes.
The whistle is an archaic clay product of small-scale sculpture and is linked to children’s toys once common in the territory of Ukraine. The first clay toys found in the Northern Black Sea region came in various forms, though most were zoomorphic figures resembling domestic and wild animals. Horses, cows, pigs, dogs, hares, roosters, doves, swallows, turtles, or even snakes – there was everything. They were often hollow inside with small pieces of clay that rattled, or had holes in the body that produced a whistle when played.

Care: Ceramic is a durable material, but it does not tolerate falls — do not allow the item to fall onto hard surfaces, as this may damage it.
